Sponsorship is open to the community, you do not have to be a Chamber Member to sponsor on the Chamber of Commerce website.

Online sponsorship is a great way to promote your business, your organization’s fundraiser, get the word out about a cause, or point users to your online store. It also provides a beneficial assistance to the Chamber of Commerce & Agriculture.

The process is simple:
1. You create a 500 pixel by 500 pixel image, and pick out a URL the image will hyperlink to (This URL points to a page on your website, your facebook page, or other online webpage). Instructions on how to get a 500 by 500 pixel image are written below.
2. You decide where you would like the advertisement to appear on our website. Zones are listed out below.
3. You use our online form to process your payment, pick your space, upload your image, and designate your link.
Your advertisement will display in the space you have chosen for the amount of time that you have paid for.
4. Payments are processed online through PayPal.

If you’re new to creating web images, you have several options. All of our sponsorship images need to be sized to 500 x 500 pixels. A pixel is a basic unit of programmable color on a computer display or in a computer image. There are several ways to create a 500 x 500 pixel image:

  • Have a designer or marketing expert create one for you
  • Download Instagram on your phone, and in settings, give Instagram access to saving each photo to your phone gallery folder. Upload a picture on Instagram using their default square format. It will then save a copy of that photo to the gallery on your phone. Different phones will save instagram photos on differing sizes, so you will then need to adjust the aspect ratio of the photo to 500 x 500. There are many ways to do this online.
  • Use a free resource like Canva, and use any of their “Social Media” layouts. Design something quickly and easy, and use their “Download” option in the upper right hand corner.

Creating Images of the Correct Size

So you’ve got an image, but it isn’t 500 pixels by 500 pixels. That’s okay! Use the free resources below to convert your image to size:

  • If you have the capability to resize an image yourself, resize the image to 500 pixels by 500 pixels.
  •  Use ResizePicOnline (will only work on square images)
  • Use an online cropping tool like ResizeIt

Using the options above, you can create an image that is 500 x 500 pixels to upload into our publisher.

We have sponsorship locations on our home page, the Come and Take It Festival page, the Visitor Center page, the Relocation Information page, and the Winterfest page. Book a 12 month sponsorship to guarantee your advertisement is displayed on webpages consistent with the Come and Take It and Winterfest events – all ad spaces have limited quantities.

Slots #4, #5, and #6 are as pictured. They appear farther down on the home page, and are listed under Quick Facts and in between pertinent regional and timely events. They will never appear at the very bottom of the home page.

Slots #1, #2, and #3 are as pictured. They appear on a row in the upper portion of the Come and Take It webpage, just above the social media timelines. They are below schedules, maps, and sponsors when scrolling down the webpage. They are ordered from left to right, slot #1 on the left, #2 in the middle, and #3 on the right side.

Come and Take It Slots #4, #5, and #6

Advertising slots #4, #5, and #6 are in a row lower on the webpage and will appear below the sponsorship and above the history of Come and Take It. The also are ordered from left to right, advertisement slot #4 being on the left hand side, #5 in the middle, and #6 on the right hand side.

SPONSORSHIP ON VISITOR CENTER, RELOCATION INFORMATION, AND WINTERFEST PAGES

The Visitor Center page has three options for sponsorship. They are, from left to right, slots #1, #2, and #3. The visitor center page is a great option for sponsorship to visitors to the area. This area would be particularly beneficial to restaurants and boutique/antique stores in the area.

The Relocation Page has three sponsorship options. They are numbered #1,#2, and #3, and are ordered for their number when scrolling down the page. Slot #1 is the first advertisement on the page and positioned by the basic page information. Slot #2 is directly positioned by the Real Estate listings. Slot #3 is directly positioned by the Commercial & Oilfield Rentals.

The Winterfest Page has three advertising options. Advertising Slot #1 is positioned next to Time and Date information for the event. This information will become more detailed soon. Advertising Slot #2 is positioned next to ticket prices for the Historic Homes Winter Tour. Advertising Slot #3 is positioned next to the schedule of other Winterfest events further down the page.

Sponsorship Terms and Conditions

Submission of materials, insertion orders, and verbal and nonverbal space reservations constitutes acceptance of the following conditions:

1. The Chamber of Commerce reserves all rights to take down sponsorship that are deemed to be fraudulent, abusive, misleading, or contain expletive/curse words.
2. The Chamber of Commerce reserves the right to take down sponsorship that direct users to an unsafe webpage, an abusive webpage, or a misleading webpage.
3. If your sponsorship is taken down for any of the above reasons, you will not receive a refund.
4. If you wish that your sponsorship no longer be displayed on our website before your time slot is up, for any reason, please contact the chamber. No refunds will be issued for time that you do not use if you cancel your website advertisement early.
5. It is highly likely that your website will be in a rotation with other sponsorship in that slot. If your sponsorship is not showing on the webpage you have selected, simply refresh the webpage until it appears. This is to create interest among our many returning users so that they see fresh and informative content with each visit.
6. Users are responsible for uploading and paying for another sponsorship when their purchased slot expires. For example: A company that purchases a 30 day sponsorship beginning November 1st will be responsible for uploading and remitting payment for an additional sponsorship if they wish when their 30 day sponsorship expires.
7. Displayed sponsorship is not directly endorsed or supported by the Chamber of Commerce. The content on the specific webpage that users choose to sponsor on may change without notice of the sponsorship’s purchase.
8. Artwork for sponsorship are user-generated image and URLS provided by the users purchasing the space for them, and are fully authorized and licensed to use all content including, but not limited to, the names and/or pictures of persons, living or dead, or of things, trademarks, service marks, copyrighted, proprietary or otherwise private material, testimonials, contained in any sponsorship submitted by or on behalf of the advertiser and/or its agency. Each agrees jointly and severally to indemnify and save harmless the Gonzales Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Center against all loss, liability, damage, and expense of whatever nature arising from our copying, printing, or publishing of such sponsorship.
9. The Chamber of Commerce is not responsible for artwork that runs into copyright infringement or plagiarism.
10. Full payment for sponsorship is collected at the time of uploading and is payable through PayPal. The Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Center will not accept checks or cash in exchange for website advertisements. The Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Center will not accept partial payments for website sponsorship.
11. The Chamber of Commerce assumes no liability for errors in artwork or directing URLs.
12. Online sponsorship are subject to limited availability.
13. All sponsorship will include a designation above the sponsorship specifying that they are a sponsored post.
